BRAD ADAMS
Brad is the Founder and President of Sunstone Publishing. He is not your typical publisher, as his day job for the past 31 years has been as CEO of two different manufacturing businesses.
But at night and in the very early morning hours, he has traded financial and currency futures as well as stocks and options for over 33 years. And in his leftover spare time, he has researched massive amounts of health related research. And he is a well known recluse, not prone to public exposure...maybe even a bit eccentric.
It was through building businesses, operating in very difficult environments, that Brad developed a passion for the pursuit of peak performance. He realized that maximizing human potential is the common element to both a successful business and a fulfilled life.
After graduating from Occidental College with an AB in Economics, Brad was given a book written by Peter Drucker, the preeminent management guru and prolific author. He immediately devoured the book and immersed himself into Drucker’s writings. Brad was so intent on learning from Drucker that he moved back to the west coast and enrolled in the Claremont Graduate School where Drucker taught. For two years he had the privilege to study directly and interact with Mr. Drucker, and earned his MBA from Claremont, which is now known as the Peter F. Ducker School of Management.
Along the way, Brad became a practioner of NLP, a second degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, learned to fly planes, and then helicopters. His interests are diverse to say the least.
Brad has been an active member of the Young Presidents Organization and, now, the World President’s Organization. He has been a regular attendee at the YPO/Harvard Business School program for the last several years.
In recognition of his mentor Peter Drucker, Brad serves on the Board of Visitors of the Peter F. Drucker School of Management at the Claremont Graduate University.
And why Sunstone Publishing?
Brad stated: “I’ve been blessed with an amazing cast of teachers and mentors throughout my life and it's time to give back and share what I have learned"
